The hoop need to be 3 feet in diameter and netted as shown in the picture. Design on netting can be the patrols choice, but should cover the area as the one shown. Patrols must provide two sticks 12" long.

The spears need to be 3 feet long with a hook on the back end to keep them from going through the hoop that is being speared (see illustration). The spears could be decorated for extra points

The patrol needs to make 8 spears even if the patrol is less than 8 members.

Spears are to be keep in secure area by the scoutmaster until they are taken out to do the event…. No throwing or practicing while at the camporee. You need to practice at the scout meetings before the camporee.
